'HYGGE' has been developed to form a lived experience that a wearer can form a connection with. My collection focuses on how we live in our garments and experience clothing on a personal level. Inspired by ancient ways of dress, focusing on draping fabric from the shoulders and creating loose silhouettes, garments have been designed to interact in harmony with the body and movement. I was also inspired by ‘Imitation of Christ: This is Not a Fashion Show’, visualising how we wear our clothes and interact with them on a personal level to form unique relationships with our garments.
